My sister works for a company which hires Promotions Modelsfor placing with clients who want to use these Promotions Modelsto endorse their products. It sounds like a really glamorous job but my sister assures me that there is a lot of her work that is incredibly mundane. She is the person who is responsible for recruiting the Promotions Modelsin the first place and then she has to allocate them to the jobs which are best suited for them. My sister was moaning to me the other day that it seemed to her that nobody really wanted to work hard anymore. When I asked her to explain she told me that two of her models had called in sick that day and she was almost sure there was nothinng wrong with either of them. She said that she was really surprised that they were not more eager to fulfil their roles, particularly as they were paid very well for their time and they are not made to work particularly hard most of the time. She said that she thinks it is a generational thing and, as most of the models are very young, they do not understand the importance of being reliable and on time in the same way that somebody older would.
